The Skinny

   Our Learn to Lead course is designed for experienced climbers looking to get on the "Sharp End".  We will work on proper placements of rock protection, how to properly clip, as well as how to protect yourself and your second.  We will start off with mock leads, using a loose top rope to protect us while we place pieces and move up the rock.  Experienced climbers only.

This course is designed for experienced climbers that are looking to get into leading rock routes.  Previous climbing experience required.

 

All technical gear will be provided.  This includes a harness, helmet,  chalk bag and use of all anchoring materials.  Climbers should bring lunch/snacks for the day and plenty of water.  Climbers should also bring Sunblock and bug spray.  Rock shoes are not included but are available for rental for $10 a day. Climbers may use there own gear but it is subject to a guides approval.

Payment must be made in full when scheduling.  Any cancellations within 7 days of the climb will not be eligible for a refund.  Before the 7 day cutoff, a full refund will be granted.  As professional mountain guides, our cancellation policy helps with guides job security.  A minimum age of 14 with a parents or guardians signature is required for this course.  Subject to weather. Must sign waiver.
