Graduate of the Outdoor Leadership Program at G.C.C. North Ridge Mountain Guides founder Jamie Leahy, discovered his love for the mountains on our very own Mt. Washington. Since then Jamie has climbed many peaks in the Northeast as well as the Northwest and even in the Equadorian Andes. Jamie completed the Outdoor Leadership program at Greenfield Community College with a focus on climbing and mountaineering. Association for Experiential Education member Kari is a true adventurer at heart – she has biked across the United States, trekked in the Himalayas, and straddled the Equator while mountaineering in the Ecuadorian Andes. She has two degrees in education and loves teaching people to enjoy the outdoors, be it backpacking through the wilderness, paddling on a quiet lake, poking around in the dirt, or climbing to the tops of mountains. Wilderness First Responder Travis has been climbing for ten years and has been teaching rock climbing for eight years. Travis has taught in rock gyms, outdoor education programs for colleges, the YMCA, and in climbing schools across the USA. In addition to rock climbing Travis teaches outdoor leadership and backpacking skills at a college north of Boston.

Dan is a part time guide for North Ridge Mountain Guides and full time Professional Geologist working throughout New England. Dan has previously worked in the outdoor industry and academia, working as a part time kayak guide for Storm King Adventure Tours and a college level instructor at Manhattan College teaching earth science and geology. Dan enjoys hiking and climbing calling the Northeast his home, but also seeks out adventure elsewhere, having climbed Mt. Rainier via the Kautz (14,410’), glacier climbing in Alaska, Class III whitewater rafting on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, and canyoning in Puerto Rico.
